Hi there!

We are the co-founders of sadbois clothing, Jessica and Karan. We are university students from Ontario, Canada,  trying to share our passion project with the world. We started sadbois because of our mutual desire to create unique and personal products as well as our passion for design. Sadbois originated from a collaborative Spotify playlist called ‘sadbois only’ created amongst a group of friends. We started it in high school and still continue to use it as a safe space to share our favourite songs. We’ve linked it below if you are interested in checking it out or if you’re looking for some new tunes. This playlist started out as nothing serious but as we decided to take on the challenge of starting our own clothing brand, this playlist came to mind. Sadbois clothing has been a huge learning experience and each day we learn something new.

We want to build a brand that is fundamentally original and uniquely ours. We want to build a strong relationship with each customer that is based upon trust in us and in our products.

We believe in the importance of giving back to our community. Sadbois Clothing was started with the issue of mental health awareness in mind because it is a cause that is close to us. We will be donating 10% of our total profits to Youth Mental Health Canada. In addition, 80% of the profits from our Fall 2020 Silence is Violence tees will be donated to the Black Legal Action Centre located in Toronto.

We value our customer’s experience and that drives our entire process. We design by shining light on common human experiences and allowing them to speak for themselves. We believe that good design is powerful, hard work is essential and exploring the unknown is powerful.

At our core, sadbois clothing operates on imagination, attention to detail, inclusivity, and determination. We strive to create meaningful designs that are not only relatable but are also able to bring attention to certain issues we are passionate about.
